Nest your parts. See the sheet before you cut.
Load one or more DXF parts. Set the sheet, margin and spacing; the Workshop tries layouts and returns utilization, required sheets and an arranged DXF.

- It works on a grid, not exact geometry. Resolution sets the placement step: at 2 mm, positions advance in 2 mm increments. Always verify clearances before manufacturing.
- This tool reads DXF only. It does not include a DWG reader because that binary format requires a different pipeline; convert it first or use a compatible tool.
- It nests the closed perimeter of each part. Holes are detected and left free, so a small part can land inside a bigger part’s hole.
- It does not compute cutting paths, lead-ins, or kerf compensation. The gap between parts is yours to set.
- Utilization compares the real area of placed parts with the full sheet, not grid cells. Use it to compare configurations, then validate the result before quoting or cutting.
Is the drawing in another language?
Nesting places geometry. CADlingua classifies notes in DXF or DWG, applies rules to dimensions, tolerances and codes, and returns the file for review.
