1. Who we are
newlife (New Life Solutions) operates the newlifesolutions.dev hub, a static site. Privacy contact: uhalveyy@gmail.com. Operating base: Bilbao, Spain.
2. What we do
This site describes the studio’s work. CADlingua — a translator for text inside industrial DXF/DWG drawings — is presented as a case study: what you can use here is an interactive demo that runs entirely in your browser, uploading no file and sending nothing to any server. The hosted service that used to exist was decommissioned in August 2026: there is no application, no registration and no login. Bespoke deployments, where they happen, are agreed separately and fall outside the scope of this site.
3. What we collect
Less than this section said until August 2026, because this site no longer has a server of its own. (a) Contact: this site has no contact form and no database. The only channel is writing to the published email address, in which case the data you give us is whatever you choose to put in your message. We do not copy it into a CRM or any other tool: it lives in the mailbox that receives the mail, which is a Gmail one, with the consequences explained in section 6. There is no automated submission, no profiling and no record of where you came from. (b) CADlingua: the demo on this site runs entirely in your browser. No file is uploaded, no translation leaves your machine, and there is nothing for us to see or keep. There are no diagnostic logs either, because there is no service to produce them. If a deployment that processes drawings is agreed in future, the agreement in section 6 is signed first. (c) Accounts: none exist. There is no registration, no login, and we store no organization data. The static hub stores no CAD files and uses no advertising or third-party tracking cookies; it does load the aggregate Vercel analytics detailed in the cookie policy.
4. Legal basis
The email you send us is processed under legitimate interest in replying to someone who writes to us (Art. 6(1)(f)) and, where the conversation leads to an offer, pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)). Where an accounting or tax obligation applies, the basis is compliance with a legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)). We do not process data on the basis of marketing consent: we send no unsolicited commercial messages. On whether you are obliged to give us your data: you are not, neither by law nor by contract, but it is necessary for what you are asking for. Without an email address we cannot reply to you; that is the only consequence of not providing it. You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest by writing to uhalveyy@gmail.com, and we will stop processing your data unless compelling grounds override that.
5. How long we keep it
Email you write to us: for as long as the conversation or the commercial relationship lasts and, if none comes about, at most 24 months from your last contact, after which we delete it from the mailbox. To be exact about the mechanism: we honour that period by hand, no automated system enforces it, and what gets deleted is the message in the mailbox, because there is no other copy in any database of ours. You can request erasure before that period and we carry it out within the one month set by Art. 12(3), except what we must retain by legal obligation (invoicing, tax periods). Account data: not applicable, no accounts exist. CADlingua files: not applicable; the demo on this site uploads nothing, so there is no file of ours to retain or delete. Technical diagnostic logs: not applicable, there are no services of ours left to generate them.
6. Sub-processors
Before the list, who answers for what. For the data you send us by email we are the controller, and the third parties below act on our behalf. The list is shorter than in the previous version because all hosted infrastructure was decommissioned in August 2026: there is no application-hosting or database provider any more, which is why Microsoft Ireland Operations / Azure no longer appears here. DeepL SE does not appear either: the demo on this site translates against no service, so no text of yours reaches a translation engine. The list, outside the EEA, transferring to the United States with the safeguard stated in each case: Vercel Inc. (hosting for the static hub and its aggregate analytics) under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; and Google LLC, also certified under that same Framework, because the mailbox that receives mail for uhalveyy@gmail.com is a Gmail one. Porkbun LLC remains the provider of the domain and its mail forwarding — the address hola@newlifesolutions.dev still works, even though this site no longer publishes it — and per its own privacy policy relies on Standard Contractual Clauses for these transfers, with an EU representative (DataRep, Dresden, Germany). The practical consequence, worth knowing: if you write to us or exercise your rights by email, that message comes to rest at Google. If you need to formalise processing carried out on our behalf, write to uhalveyy@gmail.com and we will sign an agreement under Art. 28 GDPR before starting. You can ask us for a copy of, or more detail on, these safeguards at the same address. We do not sell data. We do not train models on your drawings.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection (Arts. 15–21). To exercise them: uhalveyy@gmail.com. Response within one month. Note that this address is a Gmail mailbox, as explained in section 6, so Google is involved as the mail provider; if you would rather not use a channel that passes through Google, ask us for an alternative route in the message itself. You may also complain to the Spanish AEPD (aepd.es) or to your local supervisory authority.
8. Changes
We will post material changes on this page with a new date. Version 0.3 (10 August 2026) records a real change, not a wording improvement: all hosted infrastructure for the site was decommissioned. The contact form and its database, accounts and login, the hosted translation service and its diagnostic logs are gone; and with them Microsoft / Azure and DeepL leave the list of sub-processors. Contact becomes an email address. Version 0.2 had added the processing of the form, the legal basis, the retention periods and the complete list of sub-processors. An EU privacy lawyer should review this block before a paid enterprise rollout.
